Two Things that Make People Resist the Gospel When Paul speaks to Agrippa he covers two topics that always meet resistance. Eternal life and the resurrection are resisted because these teachings undermine the authorities of this world. Spreading the gospel to the Gentiles undermines the "Specialness" of God's kingdom by opening it up to outsiders. Both of these doctrines can anger people.

MISTAKE - In this video I said that Agrippa was not related to the Herod dynasty. This is false. He was known as Herod Agrippa II. He is the last of the herodian dynasty, not a new dynasty.
